Biography

I have been performing for audiences since I was a little girl and I have been loving every second of it! I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio to my parents Doug and Patricia Carleton. I fell in love with performing at a very young age; putting on plays in my back yard and making movies with my friends.

I started studying acting and learning as much as I could about film and theater history. I began to harness my own acting style and craft. I have studied at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, The Stella Adler Academy, The Groundlings and with Amy Lyndon, Margie Harber, Doug Warhit and Anthony Meindl.

Amongst all my experience my favorite projects are hands down acting in these theater roles: Ginger in Rosemary with Ginger directed by award winner Stan Harrington,  Ellen in Eastern Standard directed by Oscar Winner Milton Justice, and Helena in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream with the Speakeasy Theater Company. I have a very strong passion for relating and storytelling. Without stories the world would not move forward in my opinion, imagine life without stories!

I am also a writer and perform as a stand up comedian. I have been producing my own comedic web series the last year and it has been an amazing experience. Creating makes me happy. I wouldn’t want to be doing anything else.

In my free time I enjoy surfing, snowboarding, cooking, live concerts, hiking with my pit bull, and Kundalini yoga.
